Embark on a 3.5-hour interpretive off-road tour and witness the breathtaking beauty of the Royal Gorge. The journey will take you through privately permitted 4×4 roads to the highest mountain peaks where you can enjoy the awe-inspiring view of Fremont Peak, overlooking the valley. You will have the opportunity to explore the historic landmarks in the community, including America’s highest suspension bridge. The tour starts from the historic Cañon City and takes you on a climb of more than 1,500 vertical feet towards the southern rim of the Royal Gorge. As you ascend, you will witness the stunning vistas of the valley, and once you reach the top, you will be mesmerized by the panoramic view of the Royal Gorge.

Red Canyon ½ Day Jeep

The Red Canyon tour takes you on a scenic route through towering red spires and monoliths, which have been shaped by the erosion of the Fountain Formation. This unique layer of sedimentary rock, which is also found at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
The 4×4 trail takes you on an exciting adventure, climbing up from the desert valley through groves of juniper and cedar trees. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. You can take a short hike to Overlook Arch, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the area. After the hike, you’ll get back in the jeep to explore the history of the area. You’ll see dinosaur tracks and Indian petroglyphs up close, and enjoy more awe-inspiring views of the surrounding landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like mule deer, turkeys, and bears during the tour.
